Nintendo’s New Switch Model Up for Sale in UK

Online retailers are offering the New Nintendo Switch, it could be purchased via retailers; GAME (available in neon grey colour) and ShopTo, (available in neon grey colour) for £280. Both sites offer next day shipping. GAME is offering a credit of £195 for those who trade in their previously purchased switch model.

The updated switch features improve battery life and many other minor alterations including a brighter screen. Nintendo’s estimation for the New Nintendo switch’s battery life is somewhere between 4.5 to 9 hours which is a big leap when compared to the original model’s 2.5 to 6 hours of battery life. 

In an early battery life test, the New Switch lasted for 5 hours and 36 minutes while playing Legend Of Zelda: Breath Of The Wild in portable mode. In another battery life test, the New Switch ran for 2 full hours while playing Fire Emblem: Three Houses in portable mode with 60% battery remaining, indicating a run time of 5 hours.

NINTENDO BRINGS SWITCH LITE.

Switch Lite was announced in July. A lighter, smaller version of the Original Switch will be unveiled on September 20th for $200. Switch lite has been estimated to have a battery life of 3 to 7 hours, it comes in three colours- Grey, Yellow and Turquoise. Nintendo has announced plans to launch new colours in Blue-Neon yellow pair and Neon purple-Neon orange pair on October 4th. 

Limited edition Pokemon sword and Pokemon shield switch lite console are to be released in November. UK pricing has not been declared but the Switch would cost $79.99 in the US.
